What’s Included?
Each week covers connected topics to explore ideas in the same categories but without the 5-day format. This allows you to have a day for co-op, two days for blended model, or a day to catch up.
Unlike free online CM curriculum, you don’t have to schedule out the recommended books. These lesson plans are researched and laid out so you can do the recommended readings confident in completed scope at the end.
- 36 weekly layouts
- 108 Daily lesson layouts
- Monthly supply lists
- Monthly book lists that should be easily sourced at the library or YouTube
- Printable art booklet
- Printable maps for lessons
Lessons are reviewed by a certified elementary educator and an educator who has completed the Charlotte Mason Institute CORE teacher’s training.
Multi-Faceted Focus
The goal of this curriculum is to look at America from multiple perspectives. We want to raise our kids to see the Image of God stamped on every neighbor. We want to know one anothers stories and know how our history impacts today.
American history is complicated. The books I have selected open a lot of space for families to have good conversations about complicated history and the way it impacts our present. I’ve pre-read everything this year, and provide a heads up for productive coversations you could have with many of the books. Please message me if you find something concerning that I didn’t address!
Subjects covered
- Bible and Hymn
- Literature
- Copywork
- Science
- History
- Geography
- Art
- Nature Study
- Handicraft
- Also, each day has a toddler time picture book to read, and an activity to develop a relationship with your toddler, or to keep your toddler busy while you’re working with your other children.
What sets this curriculum apart is that you learn as a family rather than having students on multiple learning tracts.

Each month also has an index of all the books you will cover for that month. Having all your resources up front allows you to order all the supplies you need to seamlessly cover the month of learning.
Community Contributions From Earlier Cycles:
My favorite part of this curriculum has been the community of learners on Facebook. We share how we did the activities, troubleshoot tricky lessons, and provide content warnings/conversation guides! This year I put even more work into creating fun history and region specific activities along the way.
